The Oppo Find X8 has an official launch date, the brand announces a new chip

The Oppo Find X8 will be launched in a few days. In the meantime, the brand is already promising us foolproof performance and fluidity thanks to the Dimensity 9400 chip and ColorOS 15.

Oppo has announced that its Find X8 series will be officially presented on October 24 next in China. The manufacturer will announce the technical characteristics and design of the three smartphones expected for the occasion. To whet our appetites, the brand has revealed the identity of the SoC that will equip the devices.

ColorOS 15 leverages the capabilities of the Dimensity 9400

Between the integration of the Dimensity 9400 and the optimizations brought by the ColorOS 15 update, based on Android 15, Oppo promises a significant performance gain. The manufacturer cites a 25% reduction in the time required to select the optimal transmission channel, thereby significantly reducing the average waiting time. In terms of storage, better management of compressed files can improve transfer speed by more than 15%. Application performance will also benefit from these new hardware and software features.

Oppo also introduces two new technologies: Aurora Engine and Tide Engine. The former works at the system level and the latter at the chip level, but they work hand in hand to improve graphics rendering and resource management. The Find

The availability of the Find X8 in is not yet known. Oppo is back home and has launched its Reno 12 on our territory. We should therefore also see the Find X8 arrive, but not before 2025. It is also possible that the future OnePlus 13 will benefit from some of these features, OxygenOS sharing a common base with ColorOS.
