In short, the video games branch of Jeff Bezos’ firm has decided to invest heavily in this area, and that is why it is coming back with… Throne and Liberty!
After building a solid reputation in Asia, the title, developed by NCSoft, took a ticket to the West in order to conquer the hearts of a whole new audience. Certainly, we are still far from the scores that it was able to achieve previously – 10 million players, remember, but the official launch on Steam and on home consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series) is rather resounding, according to the figures recorded by the site SteamDB. Obviously, it only takes into account the number of simultaneous players on the Valve platform, but it is already a good indicator. During the last 24 hours, Throne and Libertyaccessible for free, attracted no less than 301,023 players!

The new MMORPG published by Amazon Games may have had a slightly complicated launch – connection problems and average ratings, among other things – but it manages, day after day, to be particularly intriguing! From now on, the hardest part will be to retain this large number of players, and it will not be easy. As we mentioned, the opinions are pouring in and they are not necessarily rave… At the time of writing, only 57% of Steam players have left a positive review and more than 14,500 (14,604) have taken the time to share their feedback on Throne and Liberty.

We have observed this on more than one occasion: players often try it for some time before leaving the ship… That being said, the developers of Throne and Liberty have already proven in the past that they are attentive to the feedback of the community. We will therefore have to expect multiple adjustments in the coming weeks, which may mean that the MMORPG will look much better in the future. Recently, an update to version 1.1.0 was deployed and promises, among other things, to fix many bugs and improve certain game settings.
