Ubisoft San Francisco will finally be able to savor this long-awaited moment, that of the release of its new game, XDefiant. We now know the release date of the game, but also the content planned for its launch.
XDefiant release date is set for the end of May
Announced in July 2021 and postponed several times, XDefiant will finally be available from May 21, 2024 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the server testing session! It was exciting to see all the love for the game and the great feedback that was shared. At the end of the test, we are excited to announce that we will launch our pre-season on May 21 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The launch of But there will still be plenty to do with several different game modes and a certain number of maps and weapons.

New compared to the test sessions: the ranked mode training list which would allow you to practice a new ranked mode in competitive 4v4 matches. This game list will include Domination, Occupation, Escort and Area Control modes.
Note that rewards unlocked during the Server Test Session and Insiders Sessions will be available at launch.
XDefiant Year 1: we already know some of the content
After the 6-week pre-season, XDefiant will be updated with seasons every 3 months with new weapons, new maps, new events and a new faction. In total, Year 1 will include 4 factions, 12 weapons and 12 maps.
