Years in the Making

Before sharing their romantic connection with the world, the pair had been working together for years. In 2011, they published the adult picture book, Ode to Happiness followed by the release of their art book, Shadows, in 2016. In 2017 their professional relationship grew even further with the launch of their publishing house, X Artists’ Books.

Here, the couple stepped out hand-in-hand for the 2023 LACMA Art+Film Gala — four years after making their red carpet debut.

The couple was in good spirits for the 2022 MOCA Gala as Grant let out a laugh while holding The Matrix star’s hand.

And at the following year’s MOCA GALA, the pair showed off some PDA on the carpet, sharing a kiss as they made their way down the carpet.
