Today it’s hard to imagine the German charts without Nina Chuba with “Wildberry Lillet”, “Mangos mit Chili” and many other songs. Did you know that her career began at the tender age of seven and initially had nothing to do with music?

“The Peppercorns”: In the children’s series, Nina Chuba solves criminal cases

Nina Chuba, whose real name is Nina Kathrin Kaiser, grew up near Hamburg. No wonder her showbiz career starts right there. Namely as an actress.

At just seven years old, she became part of the German children’s and youth series “Die Pfefferkörner”. It’s about a clique of detectives who experience lots of adventures in Hamburg and solve thefts, fraud, environmental crimes and other exciting mysteries.

There are now 19 seasons of the cult series. The cast changes regularly. From 2008 to 2010, Nina took on the role of Marie Krogmann, the youngest member of the Pfefferkörner.

Even today, Nina is still regularly in front of the camera – most recently for the Joyn series “Intimate”.
