This is a first call-up for Harvey-Pinard this season. The energy forward has 11 points (4 goals and 7 assists) in 24 games with the Rocket this season.
He missed the first month and a half of the season recovering from surgery to repair a broken leg, and was then placed on waivers to be assigned to the Rocket.
The question now is whether he will play. He played in Friday’s game with the Rocket in Hartford, getting an assist in a 4-3 Rocket win, and will have to travel Saturday.
His recall is a “precaution,” said Martin St-Louis, while adding that it was “possible” that Harvey-Pinard would be in uniform. The head coach will later say in his morning press briefing that Josh Anderson and Brendan Gallagher, both absent from training, are doubtful cases for the duel against the New Jersey Devils.
-In front of the net, the Habs will trust Jakub Dobes. The great Czech will therefore get a sixth start this season. Like Bill Goldberg for most of 1998, Dobes remains undefeated.
Where to watch the match
