New season, new families… The show Large families: life in XXL will make its return to TF1 this Monday, January 27. If the emblematic families of the program have once again responded for this ninth edition, like the Romero, Gonzalez, Boibessot, Baudrand, Cail and Bambara clans, new faces appear in the first two episodes, already available on TF1+. Viewers meet three new tribes: the Laforce, the Nguyen and the Ballot. New families will also appear over the weeks, as the credits suggest with the Lecossais Family, currently unknown in the program. Who are they? Tele-Leisure tells you everything.
Large families : who is the Ballot family?
In the first two episodes of the ninth season of Large families: life in XXLalready available on TF1+, three new tribes are revealed. Among the latter: the Ballot family and their five children, Gabin, Cléa, Marcus, Marceau and Luka, aged 3 to 13. The mother, Anaïs, 37, is a train controller, while her husband, Maxime, 38, works as a firefighter. The tribe went through a real tragedy a few years ago… The day before she gave birth, Anaïs lost her baby, whom the couple decided to name Victor: “We have a sixth child who died the day before giving birth… It was a completely normal pregnancy, the cervix started to open over the weekend and on Monday I didn’t feel it moving anymore.“, confides the mother, moved to tears, in the first episode of this season 9.
Large families: Hélène and Son Nguyen reveal their daily life as parents of twelve children
Among the new additions to this ninth season, Hélène and Son Nguyen are also joining the adventure. Facing the camera, the stay-at-home mother and the maintenance advisor confide: “People, when they find out how many children we have, they are hallucinating.” It must be said that they are at the head of a very large family… Parents of 12 children (Loan, Ines, Waren, Liam, Willy, Jaden, Éva, Melon, Lindsay, Lorenzo, Lony and Noémie), they have gotten used to seeing things big. “Our respective families do not understand our life choices“, deplores the mother. The two parents did not inform their loved ones that they had welcomed their twelfth child, aged six months at the time of filming! “We don’t have the courage to admit to them that we had a twelfth child”she confides, with tears in her eyes. With their participation in the show, the Nguyens hope that their respective families will finally be able to accept their large tribe, by discovering their joy of living on a daily basis.
Elsa Laforce, single mother of five children, joins the adventure Large families
For their part, the Laforce family leads a life at a hundred miles an hour… Single mom, Elsa never stops. Between her professional life and her busy daily life as a mother of five children, the young nurse does not take much rest : “I manage to go 36 hours without sleeping, I have absolutely unsuspected resources“, she testifies. If Elsa appears in the show alongside Andrea, Jack, Victoria and Dove, the appearances of her eldest son, Joseph, aged 17, will be rarer.
