Halfway through the additional period, Mailloux accepted a pass from Laurent Dauphin and he placed the washer at the top of the net, over the Michael Dipietro mitt. A few seconds earlier, Alex Barré-Boulet had been arrested alone in front of the goalkeeper.

This is a third consecutive victory for the Montreal Canadian school club, which has remained at the top of the northern section of the American hockey league.

The Rocket (26-11-3) has not lost against Bruins (23-13-5) since February 16, 2020, in the last six clashes between the two teams.

Barré-Boulet, with a goal and two aids, and Dauphin, with three assistance, were the candles of ignition of the Laval attack. Noel Hoefenmayer also hit the bull’s eye.

The first trio rises

Dipietro first released the right leg to stop the attempt by Barré-Boulet before lifting your shoulder to push the dolphin shot a few minutes later.

The pressure of visitors, however, caused a penalty and eventually allowed them to take the lead. At the forefront, Hoefenmayer dowed a powerful launching on reception behind Dipietro, which had the view veiled by Owen Beck and Lucas Condotta.

Dauphin had the opportunity to double the advance of his family before the end of the first commitment, but he lacked precision after accepting a beautiful pass from Kidney.

The Bruins have better initiated the second commitment and they leveled the scoring after only 22 seconds of play. Duran tried to surprise primer from the back of the net, but the goalkeeper closed the door. However, the striker took his return and he drew a specific shot to score his sixth goal from the campaign.

Equality only lasted for six minutes. During a game in offensive territory, Barré-Boulet recovered a free washer and he deceived Dietro’s vigilance using a quick launch.

While there remained a little less than eight minutes to play, Barré-Boulet thought he had his second goal in the afternoon at the end of the stick, but Dipietro made a nice stop by sliding to his left.

The Rocket could have nourished the first two periods to go out in force at the last third, but it seemed to skate in moving sands.

Lucas conducted

Providence training took the opportunity to create equality from the fourth minute. Primeau blocked a Trevor Kuntar throw, but Abate jumped on the return to thread the needle.

More busy than his vis-à-vis, Primeau reserved one of his most beautiful stops in the meeting at Tyler Pitlick, who had managed to sneak between Adam Engstrom and Jayden Struble.

This judgment may have made the difference, because Mailloux gave his family the victory in overtime.
