Despite a much better appearance, Stade Malherbe bowed again Friday January 24, 2025 against Guingamp (0-1). After the final whistle, around fifteen masked and hooded supporters came down from the Borrelli stand, the one where the Malherbe Kop is nestled during each match. They got introduced into the field and have explode firecrackers.

An overflow without violence

The individuals, mostly hooded, rushed towards the entrance to the players' entry and exit tunnel, at the foot of the presidential stand, blocked by security agents and law enforcement. While the players had already returned to the locker room, the few people who remained on the bench hurried to take shelter in the tunnel.

However, there is no no clashes between members of security and supporters. The latter left fairly quickly towards the stand. All in peace.

At the same time, the members of Malherbe Normandy Kop have won their iconic banner in club colors as a sign of protest. They then waited for players and club members, including coach Bruno Baltazar and recruitment director Reda Hammache, to come and speak with them. The group of Caen supporters had proposed to the club that a small delegation meet the players before the match to cause an electric shock.
