Pedros is back in business.

Double winner of the Champions League at the head of the OL women’s team in 2018 and 2019, Reynald Pedros continues his odyssey in women’s football. This Tuesday, he was named head of the Ivory Coast team. He got involved with the “ Elephants” for four years with a seemingly simple objective, but which is not so simple: to qualify Ivory Coast for the CAN which takes place at the end of 2025-beginning of 2026 in Morocco.

It has been ten years since Côte d’Ivoire last played in the African Cup of Nations. Pedros, who had been without a position since the end of his adventure in Morocco a year and a half ago, replaced Clémentine Touré. As a reminder, Reynald Pedros offered himself a few months ago to succeed Hervé Renard for the post-Olympic period. In vain, since it is Laurent Bonadei who is today the boss of the French women’s team.
