The Boston Fleet acquired the services of forward Jill Saulnier from the New York Sirens in exchange for forward Taylor Girard on Tuesday.
Saulnier has not collected a point in five games since the start of the campaign. Last season, she scored a goal and collected an assist in eighteen games.
She was taken 40th overall by New York in the inaugural draft.
On the international stage, Saulnier has represented Canada at the Olympic Games twice, winning gold in 2022 and silver in 2018. She has also won four medals at the World Championships.
-Girard has also been shut out of the scoresheet in 5 games so far this season. She scored 4 goals and had 2 assists in 23 games last season.
