Swiss snowboarders are still looking for a first parallel giant podium this season. In Bansko, they did not go beyond the round of 16, neither for the women nor for the men.
Julie Zogg ranked 9th again, ahead of Ladina Cviensel, 12th. The colleagues did not qualify for the finals. The German Ramona Hofmeister, five-time winner of the Globe in the specialty, won for the first time this winter, ahead of the Japanese Tsubaki Miki and the Polish Aleksandra Król-Walas.
Among the Swiss men, a 15th place for Gian Casanova was the best result. The Austrians signed the double, Andreas Prommegger offering himself his first victory of the season, ahead of Olympic champion Benjamin Karl. The Italian Gabriel Messner, 3rd, signs his first podium in the discipline.
