History! The Fumel Table Tennis club is reaching a milestone.
After 45 years of waiting, the Fumel Table Tennis club has achieved a memorable performance by reaching the Regional 2 level. A historic first which rewards the commitment and cohesion of the team previously playing in Regional 3.
After seven fierce matches, the team won first place in its group, a result known at the end of 2024, synonymous with promotion to R2. President Christophe Brun salutes this collective feat achieved by a united team made up of four players and a substitute: Christophe, Rémi, Guillaume (coach), Lucas, and Jérôme (absent in the photo).
This beautiful dynamic thrills ping-pong enthusiasts in the region. Located at 2 avenue de Bonaguil, just opposite the gendarmerie, the club is preparing to welcome Eysines and other teams from week 3, promising thrilling matches!
“To wear Fumel’s colors high, to maintain proximity between players and to open table tennis to all”: this is the mission that the club has set itself.
