Michael Vogt narrowly missed the podium in the four-man bobsled in St. Moritz. In fact, he only missed a hundredth to get on the box.
Victory went to the German Francesco Friedrich, who beat his compatriot Johannes Lochner and the Briton Brad Hall. Timo Rohner (6th) and Cédric Follador (9th) completed the good overall result for the Swiss.
In the two-woman bobsleigh, the duos Melanie Hasler/Mara Morell and Debora Annen took 6th and 7th places. They were preceded by three German and two American bobsleighs.
Vogt 5th in two-man bob Saturday
Already on Saturday, in the two-man bob, Francesco Friedrich won. While for their part, the three Swiss crews were ranked in the top-10 (5th, 7th and 9th).
Michael Vogt/Andreas Haas, Timo Rohner/Mathieu Hersperger and Cédric Follador/Luca Rolli notably lacked speed when pushing. The victory was shared between Francesco Friedrich and Johannes Lochner, Adam Ammour took 3rd place at 0”07.
