Yesterday, Stade Rennes formalized the arrival of Brice Samba from Racing Club de Lens. The French international did not hide his joy after this transfer, which took a little time to take shape: “It’s a satisfaction because I wanted to join Stade Rennais FC. I’m relieved to have arrived to meet my new teammates and start training. I am joining a strong, stable, recognized club. The Breton people are a proud and strong people, it is gratifying to arrive in Rennes. I regularly played against SRFC when I was young and I often came to Roazhon Park in Ligue 1. I experienced very complicated matches there (smile) and I can’t wait to meet the supporters. I want to be as decisive as possible, that’s what brought me to the French team and I hope to continue this momentum. It’s also a great pleasure to meet Seko again, we’ve called each other a lot recently. I’m obviously looking forward to renewing our bond, that was our strength before and being able to repeat what we were able to do would be extraordinary..”
300,000 euros in the coffers of OM!
A transfer which also brings joy to Olympique de Marseille. Indeed, as Sportune reveals, OM will recover a check for 300,000 euros in the transaction for training compensation although the now ex-Lensois was trained in Le Havre. This is a FIFA solidarity mechanism for any trained player from the age of 12 to 23. The HAC, unsurprisingly, is not left out either since it will receive 375,000 euros in the same way as Nancy, who will recover 75,000 euros. A transfer which ultimately made five French clubs happy.
