With the new Magic7 Pro, manufacturer Honor intends to compete with flagship phones from rivals such as OnePlus, Samsung and Xiaomi. The smartphone houses the most powerful Snapdragon processor around, but also stands out with its 200-megapixel telephoto lens, convenient Magic Portal services and, of course, a host of AI features.
In any case, it does not lack computing power. The Honor Magic7 Pro is in fact driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform, which includes, among other things, the new Oryon CPU and the Adreno GPU from Qualcomm. Another point of focus: the 6.8-inch screen which should offer more eye comfort via AI (artificial intelligence). The Circular Polarized Light Display imitates the properties of sunlight and thus provides soft, more uniform lighting from any angle.
AI Super Zoom
As for the cameras, we have already mentioned the telephoto lens behind which hides a 1/1.4 inch sensor with no less than 200 megapixels. The AI Super Zoom feature even allows magnifications of 30x to 100x for very distant subjects. Additionally, the optics include a 50P Falcon main camera and a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens as well. Harcourt’s special settings should produce ‘finely lit portraits’.
The 5,270 mAh battery can be recharged by a compatible 100 watt charger in just 33 minutes. Wireless charging is also possible, at 80W.
Coming soon: the verdict
