An enticing start awaits kickboxing enthusiasts. For the 98th Glory promotion event, Mo Hamicha has just been added to the poster. While one of the big names in the heavyweight category, Jamal Ben Saddik (36 wins, 9 losses, 20 KOs) returns to the ring, after almost two years of absence.
Ben Saddik will try to achieve another victory in Glory, against the Estonian Uku Jurjendal (20-9, 16 KO). Nicknamed “the Estonian puncher”, Uku occupies 8th place in the world, and since his arrival at Glory, he has stood out with resounding knockouts, including the one against Badr Hari.
Other Moroccans on display
After his last victory in Glory against Diaguely Camara, at the end of an intense fight, Mo Hamicha (41-2, 30 KO)‚ freshly added to the evening, this Thursday January 9, will be opposed to the Spaniard Calmente Mendes (07 -00-04), in welterweight.
Ibrahim El Bouni (42.10-1, 22 KO), on a good run since his victory in Glory 96 last October, will try to repeat his success, against the Ghanaian Michael Boapeah (19-4-1, 7 KO), light heavyweight category.
-The other Moroccan in very good shape, who will be there on February 22, is Mehdi Ait El Hadj (34-4-2, 8 KO). The Moroccan prodigy won a third success at Glory 96, against Soufian Abdelkhalek, last October. Ait El hadj will face, this time, a much stronger opponent, Robin Ciric (23-8, 7 KO), 4th in the welterweight ranking.
