Less than ten days after his arrival, Sergio Conceiçao won the Italian Super Cup on the AC Milan bench this Monday. The Portuguese coach was exultant… and injured his ankle.
It is always said that these kinds of injuries hurt more the next day, when the area of the body is cooled. Sergio Conceiçao must therefore “feel it passing” this Tuesday.
Indeed, the Portuguese coach was injured during the celebrations following AC Milan’s victory in the Italian Super Cup against Inter.
In all likelihood, the former FC Porto coach should even have received some treatment for his right ankle from the Rossoneri medical staff.
A small injury which did not prevent Sergio Conceiçao from carrying out his traditional post-trophy celebration in the locker room, cigar in mouth (read here).
Back in Italy, AC Milan will face Cagliari on Saturday, with the aim of getting back to the leading teams in Serie A.
