Moghreb Athletic de Tétouan (MAT) announced the appointment of Mohamed Bencherifa as the team’s new coach, replacing Aziz El Amri.

In a press release posted on its social networks, the club specified that its president, Youssef Azeroual, and the management office have officially entrusted Mohamed Bencherifa with the mission of supervising the first team until the end of the season, with a possibility of renewal.

The press release added that, on the recommendation of the new coach, Abdessalam Fares and Adil Lamrabat were appointed as assistants, while Youssef Riyani will assume the functions of physical trainer. Mohamed El Hichou retains his role as goalkeeper coach.

On December 21, the MAT decided to part ways with Aziz El Amri, citing insufficient results, and temporarily entrusted technical management to Mohamed Lakhal, his deputy.
