“He was a pleasant and appreciated student,” confides Didier Soler, principal of the Aragon-Picasso comprehensive high school in Givors.
Friday January 17 morning, a Givordin high school student, aged 17, studying in Terminale CAP electrician, died following a heart attack during a workshop. The head of this establishment which has 1,700 students sent a message to parents of students on the digital workspace (ENT).
A listening cell for students and teachers
Despite the rapid intervention of the school nurse, firefighters and Samu, the teenager could not be resuscitated. “Obviously, we are all devastated by this event and we fully associate ourselves with the pain and sorrow of the family,” writes Didier Soler.
The family was welcomed into the school. A listening cell (psychologists, nurses, doctors) has been set up for students, particularly those in the Terminale CAP, as well as for teachers. The cell will still be open at the beginning of next week.
-“Everyone is upset,” adds the principal. To his knowledge, the victim did not present any particular pathology. At the end of the day, Didier Soler seemed exhausted.
On the Facebook group of the inhabitants of Givors, condolences are multiplying. The town was already in mourning after the murder of Samet Bozkurt, by gunfire, Tuesday evening, rue Jean-Ligonnet. Friday afternoon, a white march was organized for this father living in Grigny-sur-Rhône.
