Barça is talking after the famous Dani Olmo-Pau Victor soap opera, still not registered by La Liga due to the Catalan club’s financial problems. Jaume Giró, former right arm of Joan Laporta during his campaign for the presidency of FC Barcelona in 2021, engaged in virulent criticism of the club’s leader and management. Tensions between Giró and Laporta date back to 2021, after the election of the latter. Giró had refused to join the management of the club, in particular because of disagreements over management and his disappointment at not having been named first vice-presidenta position ultimately awarded to Rafael Yuste.
