Neuchâtel Xamax is pleased to announce the return to La Maladière of Liridon Mulaj. The winger arrives from VFL Osnabrück, in the German 3rd division.

After following all the training courses of the Rouge et Noir, Liridon Mulaj made his first appearance with the Xamaxian jersey in 2016, during a match against FC Winterthur, when he was only 17 years old. In 2019, the native of Biel returned to FC Winterthur for a six-month loan. Back at Maladière, Mulaj played 10 Super League matches during the 19/20 season before leaving for SC Kriens. With Lucerne, the winger played two full seasons, totaling 63 championship matches for 8 goals and 5 assists. These performances caught the eye of an ambitious Stade-Lausanne-Ouchy, then coached by a certain Anthony Braizat, who managed to make the most of the qualities of the player who has just celebrated his 26th birthday. Indeed, during the promotion season of the Stadistes, Mulaj scored 8 goals and 4 assists in 29 championship matches, before donning the costume of the executioner of FC Sion with three goals during the play-off against the Valaisans. The following season (2023-2024) and despite the difficult results of the Lausanne club, Mulaj scored five goals and two assists in 31 matches played. He joined the Osnabrück club this summer.

Despite his young age, Liridon Mulaj already has very solid experience in the Swiss championship with 114 Challenge League and 43 Super League matches to his credit.
