Anthony Lopes played his first match in the colors of FC Nantes on the Lille pitch this Saturday. But in Lyon, no one has forgotten him.
Holder and already decisive with FC Nantes this Saturday against Lille (1-1), Anthony Lopes received a final tribute from Groupama Stadium during the match against Montpellier. The Bad Gones displayed a banner during the first half to thank the Portuguese international, who played nearly 500 matches in the colors of Olympique Lyonnais. “Antho, a quarter of a century with us. You won't leave like that.” can we read on the banner deployed by the OL Ultras, who were very close to Anthony Lopes. A nice tribute which followed a message of thanks published on the giant screen of the stadium during the warm-up. Enough to pay proper tribute to a notable Lyon player during the years 2010 and 2020 and who will undoubtedly be entitled to a proper farewell by going to Groupama Stadium later this year.
