Sporting Anderlecht must send Amadou Diawara away this winter. Ferencvaros could come and relieve the Mauves.
This is one of the main issues of Olivier Renard’s first Anderlecht transfer window: Amadou Diawara must absolutely leave the capital this winter.
With one of the highest salaries in the core, comparable to those of Jan Vertonghen and Thorgan Hazard, the midfielder costs the Mauves almost 1.5 million euros per season. This season, the 27-year-old has not played a single match.
The RSCA therefore hopes to release him this winter in order to save nearly a million euros in salary before the end of his contract, set for this summer, but the suitors are not flocking. Far from it, in fact.
A European club could, however, pull a huge thorn out of the Mauves’ side: Ferencvaros, who would be interested in the services of the former AS Roma midfielder, according to the local journalist Beyond the dressing room.
One thing is certain: Anderlecht will do everything possible to release Amadou Diawara before the end of his contract.
