It's time for monthly protocol rewards! Among the Rookies, we find a scent of France with Alexandre Sarr (Wizards) who is elected Rookie of the Month for December. Yves Missi (Pelicans) accompanies him for the Western Conference.
For this second Rookie of the Month trophy, two new faces. Jared McCain and Jaylen Wells opened the ball, it is now Alexandre Sarr and Yves Missi who have the right to honors.

Alexandre Sarr is thus rewarded for his regular progress in recent weeks, with an increasingly serious long-distance shoot. With 13.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game over the month, he did the job in Washington's racket, despite disappointing collective results.
Yves Missi confirms his status as a good pick in Lousiana. Chosen in 21st position, the Cameroonian interior is one of the rare rays of sunshine among the Pelicans. If here too the results are disappointing (thanks to the injuries), Missi continues to make noise night after evening. He averaged 11.2 points, 10 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game in December. Enough to reassure NOLA about its needs at position 5.
