Meyebine-Esso Gnassingbé is no longer executive president of ASKO Kara. Elected in December 2020, he ended his term on December 28, 2024. At the end of this term, he becomes honorary president. He leaves his place to Pidabi Bawoubadi, elected head of the club.

Under his presidency, ASKO Kara experienced many successes. The club has won four consecutive Togolese championship titles, bringing its total to nine. He also played in one group stage of the CAF Cup and participated in three preliminary rounds of the Champions League.

The club has also progressed off the field. A women’s section was created and shone in the national championship. On a material level, a headquarters, a vehicle fleet and land for a future training center have been acquired.

Pidabi Bawobadi, former vice-president and mayor of Kara, now takes the reins of the club. He is surrounded by a renewed management team to continue the work started. With this legacy, Kara’s ASKO hopes to maintain its ambition to dominate Togolese football and shine on the African scene.
