On her Instagram page, Émilie Dequenne revealed that she celebrated Christmas from her hospital bed. His cancer, which returned at the beginning of the month, would be the reason. But nothing to demoralize the valiant woman who never loses her humor or her smile.
“Resumption of hostilities,” she writes in a photo where she appears with a hat on her head. “It’s a bit long to tell you but my body was not in a condition to resume chemo, I had to stay in the hospital for other reasons. But best Christmas ever! I had to share my best face with you,” she jokes.

The part that progresses is greater than the part that reduces,” she explained in front of the TF1 cameras. Émilie Dequenne suffers from a “super rare” cancer located above the kidney and which affects “one to two people in a million per year in the world”. “I felt, this summer, that things weren’t going very well in my body.”
