The party continues, even after Christmas.
Resident of N3 this season, the FC Espaly will experience a dream encounter on January 15. The Haute-Loire club inherited Paris Saint-Germain (winner of Lens in 32e final) during the draw for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France. For the occasion, the Rouge et Noir will not host the defending champion at the Viouzou stadium in Espaly, which can only accommodate 460 people and which did not meet the standards to host such a meeting. The match will instead be held at stade Marcel-Michelinvenue of the ASM Clermont Auvergne rugby club equipped with a capacity of 19,357 seats, including nearly 16,000 seats. It had at one time been considered to play the meeting at Geoffroy-Guichard, in Saint-Etienne, but the Altiligerian leaders ruled out this option due to the too high cost of the rental.
However, it is already too late to get tickets. ASM Clermont Auvergne announced this Friday on “torn out in less than an hour”. Thus, nearly 15,000 people will take their seats in the Espaly stands, while 3,000 parking spaces are reserved for Parisian supporters. In the previous round, FC Espaly created a sensation by eliminating Dijon on penalties (1-1, 4-3 TAB).
We will still not forget this fabulous Viouzou stadium and his career.
