It has been over a year since Andreas Skov Olsen joined the club in January 2022 from Bologna for a fee of €6.4 million, and he is seen as one of the promising talents likely to leave the Club Brugge.
However, the Dane has struggled for consistency, delivering several disappointing performances and failing to showcase his full potential for a transfer. At times, Skov Olsen seems out of the picture on the pitch, giving the impression of being out of the picture.

“There is no doubt about his talent. I feel that even in a bad match, he can have a moment that makes all the difference. But it is true that it can be difficult to read,” Vanaken said.
“On the pitch, we sometimes wonder if he really likes playing football. His attitude sometimes does not convey this impression. But when you see his level and what he can achieve, I guess he must enjoy it to a certain extent,” concluded Hans Vanaken, shortly after declaring that the Blauw & Zwart can only do their best to create the right conditions for him.
