Started by Carlo Ancelotti for the clash against Atalanta, Brahim Diaz believes that the group made great efforts because they wanted to win despite absences and injuries.
“We are in the process of getting our unit back. It’s true that things weren’t up to par with Real Madrid, but now everything is back to normal. We’ll see if we get into the top 8,” declared the Madrid attacking midfielder.
Concerning his great performance against Atlanta, marked above all by the extraordinary assist which allowed Kylian Mbappé to score Real’s first goal, the Lion of the Atlas remains very humble.
“Very happy with my match. I created a lot of chances. I wanted to help those who were in front, so that they could score. I wanted to be the link for the attackers to score,” he confided.
