If this derby between AC Ajaccio and SC Bastia will go down in history, it will surely not be for the level of play displayed by the two teams.
In a particular meeting (re)-started in the 42nd minute, the two teams never knew how to find the right rhythm. Between technical waste and repeated mistakes, this half of the derby will unfortunately have given birth to a mouse.
The only thrills this evening were the face-off from Julien Anziani who came up against Placide in the 56th minute, Bamba’s miss in the middle of the Bastia area (74th) or even a very, very hot corner in favor of Sporting at the 54th minute.
For the rest, the two teams showed their current limits and separated with a goalless draw which does not do anyone’s business.
An end to the match which was marked by a new expulsion from Ajaccien for Mehdi Puch, author of a useless tackle from behind, and above all by a contentious action in the heart of the Bastia area which did not make Mr. Thual flinch, much to the chagrin of the aceist bench.
After this meeting, the ACA remains 16th and a barrier while SC Bastia is 11th!
