Miron Muslic is no longer the coach of Cercle de Bruges. He was fired following poor results. He reacted to his ouster.
Miron Muslic achieved great things during his tenure at Cercle de Bruges. Last season he finished fourth in the Champions Play-offs and thus ensured European participation.
“I have been proud to work for the Cercle for three years and I will always carry the green and black in my heart. It has been a fantastic journey for which I am grateful and will remain grateful,” Muslic reacted to The Latest News.
“Because I am aware that I have not accomplished the things achieved in recent years alone. I would like to thank the players, the staff, everyone who allowed me to be part of this great story.”
La Cercle announced his dismissal due to recent negative results, but he does not wish to elaborate on the reasons. “I’m not going to dwell on the reasons I was given for making this decision now, I hope you understand.”
Now he will say goodbye to the players. “For me, an important and probably emotional moment will follow tomorrow, because I haven’t said goodbye to the playing group yet. I will do it tomorrow, at 9 o’clock. What comes next, I will see.”
