The 13th day of Ligue 1 shuffled the cards a little at all levels. The big blow of this day was obviously orchestrated by Olympique de Marseille, new runner-up to Paris Saint-Germain. Obviously the final ranking predicted by Opta's AI is revised.
It was a day full of twists and turns. In the opening, RC Lens triumphed in pain at Stade de Reims away (0-2). Stade Rennais then relaunched for a first success under Jorge Sampaoli against a still very worrying AS Saint-Etienne (5-0). Stade Brestois 29 regained color against a somewhat tender RC Strasbourg (3-1).
First big surprise with PSG's clash against FC Nantes at the Parc des Princes (1-1). Same observation for LOSC held in check by Montpellier HSC in the last minutes (2-2). Toulouse FC confirmed its rebirth by dismissing AJ Auxerre (2-0). OL largely beat OGC Nice in the refereeing turmoil (4-1). SCO Angers recovered in Le Havre by reshuffling the cards in the race to maintain (0-1). Finally, OM triumphed and overthrew AS Monaco, repositioning themselves in second position (2-1). All of its results, surprising or not, allowed Opta's AI to refine its predictions a little.
