PortNet is organizing a new edition of digital meetings on December 3 in Casablanca.
Several questions will be addressed during this conference which will take the theme “One-stop shops: Trade accelerators in Africa”. “Africa is changing.
Major pan-African initiatives, such as the African Continental Free Trade Area (Zlecaf), as well as regional projects, such as the Moroccan royal initiative aimed at promoting access of the Sahel states to the Atlantic Ocean , are redrawing the contours of a continent moving towards economic integration and sustainable development,” indicate the organizers of this meeting, noting that in this dynamic smart corridors are positioned as strategic levers to strengthen connectivity, stimulate trade trade, and promote the emergence of an integrated and competitive African economy. “At the heart of this transformation, one-stop shops stand out as powerful tools for transforming African trade.
By streamlining customs procedures, simplifying administrative formalities and optimizing logistics operations, these platforms offer effective solutions for managing trade flows, thus making it possible to boost trade on a continental scale,” specifies the same source.
