For its third season of existence, the senior women’s team of Kériolets de Pluvigner experienced its first federal round of the Coupe de France on Sunday. “The first season, the girls won the Morbihan trophy,” recalls Johan Stévant, the Pluvignais coach.
Facing the Parisians from ES Seizième (named after the district), Puvignon goalkeeper Naelle Jouan was quickly put to work (1′, 4′, 6′, 12′). The Parisiennes logically found the opening with a penalty from Biqueline Sousa (0-1, 25′). The Bretons were not to be outdone and, at the end of a good sequence, Célia Kervadec came up against Alexandrine Noël (33′). Just before the break, Estelle-Gabrielle Plaut once again found the opening for the visitors, who took a two-goal lead (0-2, 42′).

The second half was balanced and Pluvignese generosity was finally rewarded in added time thanks to Kervadec (1-2, 90’+1). Too late to reverse the trend. “We played the match we had to play.
