Hot bubble teas!

It’s freezing cold, but Tzuwen Lu has a big smile on her face. Since April 2023, she has been cooking Taiwanese specialties in her van: salt and pepper chicken, sweet and sour chicken and new products like katsu don. It is a pork tenderloin fried in a breading made from flour, egg and breadcrumbs. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Another essential part of Taiwanese gastronomy: the bubble teas. “I’m going to offer hot ones with chocolate, coconut, almond and taro. It is a root vegetable with a sweet taste. »

Chef Aude Willemyns only cooks everyday Japanese dishes : meat or vegetable curry, marinated chicken fritters, gyudon (minced beef, ramen)… “Everything is homemade and the ingredients come from the territory with the exception of sauces and condiments, yuzu, some traditional pastries which I bring from Japan,” adds Aude Willemyns.
