PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte has learned of the interest shown in him by the English club Manchester United.

PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte is not indifferent to Manchester United’s interest. Far from it. He is even impatient to see it materialize into an offer.

Manchester United have opened negotiations with PSG for the Uruguayan midfielder, but terms of a deal have yet to be discussed.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed all this information: “Manchester United and PSG have resumed contact in the last few hours for Manuel Ugarte. PSG are ready to sell him this summer and the player is expected to leave. Ugarte would be ready to join United even without the Champions League. There is still no formal offer.”

Ugarte only arrived in Paris last summer, for compensation of 60 million euros (paid to Sporting Portugal). His debut with the French champions was encouraging, but he gradually faded as the season progressed. He played 37 matches, including 27 as a starter. He didn’t score any goals and made do with two assists.
