The summary of qualifications

Qualifying ended at the Assen circuit with a crazy performance from Pecco Bagiana to take pole.

On his first pass, the Italian smashed the track record before being beaten in the process by Jorge Martin, who further improved the best time to 1’30.877. The two leaders of the classification were then ahead of the brothers Alex and Marc Marquez, respectively 3rd and 4th. Maverick Viñales

Revengeful, the double world champion pushed the time to 1’30.540 before returning directly to the garage. Fabio Di Giannantonio moved up to third position ahead of the Marquez brothers. Marc made a mistake at the end of the session while Maverick Viñales moved up to 3rd and remains on the front row. The Martinator had a burst of pride in his last attempt but failed 81 thousandths behind the Ducati rider (+0.081). On the second row Alex Marquez is ahead of Aleix Espargaro and Fabio Di Giannantonio, pushing the other Gresini back to 7th place.
