Despite a double course in Spanish/Communication, I decided to take charge of my dreams by heading into journalism. With a master’s degree in sports journalism, I cover sports and football news with as much admiration for transfer periods, when a club must make crucial choices for next season.

This Friday afternoon, the qualifying session for the sprint race of the Austrian Grand Prix took place. While Max Verstappen and Lando Norris had a great battle, Charles Leclerc was caught out by a problem with his single-seater. After the session, the Monegasque himself admitted that he didn’t know what had happened.

For two races now, Ferrari has encountered difficulties. There Scuderia was missed at Canada and in Spainand intends to take full advantage of this Grand Prix d’Austria to set the record straight. However, not everything went as planned for the Italian team this Friday. During qualifying for the sprint race this Saturday (4 p.m.), Charles Leclerc finished 10th, Carlos Sainz 5th.

” I do not know what happened “

Pire, Leclerc was not even able to compete in Q3 due to his car getting stuck. ” I do not know what happened “admits the Monegasque just after the session, relayed by Motorsport.com. “I was in the pit lane and I got anti-stall, and then everything went off. The team told me we’d talk about it when I got back to the garage, but I went straight from the car to here [la zone mixte d’interviews]so I don’t know. “We weren’t very good, but we would have done better than 10th. So it’s a bit disappointing. But yeah, we’ll look at what happened and tomorrow we’ll try to have a good race in the sprint to try to get back to the lead.”.

“It seems like we are a little weaker on the soft tires”

For his part, Carlos Sainz complained somewhat about the pace of the SF-24 on soft tires: “Unfortunately it seems like we are a bit weaker on the softs than on the mediums or the harders. And yes, when we put the softs on at the end, when we thought a top three was possible, we end up finishing fifth, but we had the same thing in FP1, where we were sixth on the softs. So that is something to look at but unfortunately, for now, that is more or less where we are.”.
