Transfer – Top 14: 11 players leave Montpellier – Quinze Ovalie

Montpellier Hérault Rugby announced the departure of eleven players at the end of the 2023/2024 season. These changes mark a new era for the club, with iconic players seeking new challenges elsewhere.

Significant departures

The club paid tribute to its players during the last match at GGL Stadium on June 1.

Among the starters are names well known to Montpellier supporters: Aubin Eymeri, Ben Lam, Clement Doumenc, Louis Foursans, Louis Carbonel, Titi Lamositele, Brandon Paenga Amosaet Grégory Spruce. These players, having contributed significantly to the club’s success, will embark on new adventures for the 2024/2025 season.

Two more pillars leave the club

In addition to the aforementioned departures, two other pillars, Karl Tu’inukuafe et Lasha Macharashviliwill put an end to their adventure with the MHR.

The three-quarter center Geoffrey Doumayrou, who recently retired, will not leave the club completely. He will join the MHR sports staff when it resumes on July 17. Doumayrou will bring his experience and knowledge of the game to the technical team.

Ben Lam joins Castres Olympique
