MotoGP: Ducati pays tribute to twenty years of collaboration with Pramac Racing

The Borgo Panigale manufacturer has celebrated twenty years of successful collaboration with the Pramac Racing team, marked by numerous successes, podiums and a world title. In a press release, Ducati Corse expressed its gratitude for “the excellent work carried out from 2005 to today as a factory-supported Ducati team in MotoGP”.

« During these twenty years of collaboration” the statement said, ” Paolo Campinoti’s team contributed to the sporting growth of Ducati and its riders in the premier categoryobtaining 8 victories, 55 podiums and 20 pole positions. In addition, the Pramac Racing team won the world team title in 2023 and, with its results, actively participated in obtaining the 4 world constructors’ titles won by Ducati in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. »

Claudio DomenicaliCEO of Ducati Motor Holding, said: “ I would like to personally thank Paolo Campinoti for all these years we have worked together. We have achieved excellent results with passion and enthusiasm, but above all
in a climate of great respect and collaboration. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a solution to extend this partnership further, but
the esteem and friendship that bind us are totally intact and will last over time. Good luck for the future to Paolo and his team.

He recalls : ” Pramac Racing was the first independent Ducati team to win a race in MotoGP and in 2023 won the world teams title, in addition to having obtained the title of best independent team on several occasions. We are sorry that we cannot continue together in the future. But now we have to stay focused on the present: we will do everything possible to support Pramac Racing, Jorge Martín and Franco Morbidelli until the end, in order to achieve other important goals this season.. »

This separation marks the end of an era, but also the beginning of new opportunities for both parties.
