The choice of Afghanistan is not insignificant for Dguig either, because this Afghan team is playing its first world championship and should have a style of play close to that of Tajikistan, one of Morocco’s opponents in the group stage. The first meeting is scheduled for July 10, the second for the 13th of the same month. The double confrontation against Spain is scheduled for the month of August. A first gathering at the end of June

In preparation for the 2024 World Cup, the national team has been training for a few days at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmora.
