OM rejects 3 requests for a (very expensive) replacement…

Olympique de Marseille has not yet formalized the signing of Roberto De Zerbi. The latter arrived in Marseille this Wednesday and is already working on the Olympian transfer window with his staff and club management. The goalkeeper’s file is notably discussed internally.

Unless the situation turns around, Pau Lopez should leave theOlympic Marseille this summer. The latter reached an agreement with Como, promoted to Serie A this season. OM and the Italian club must now agree on the terms of the transfer of the former AS Roma goalkeeper.

For its part, OM is already working on its successor and has notably activated the track Ilan Meslier (24 years old). The French goalkeeper has been playing in the Championship for a year and narrowly failed to return to the Premier League during the playoffs against Southampton. Under contract with Leeds until 2026, he could thus have an exit voucher after five seasons spent in England. This avenue is not the only one studied by the Marseille leaders.
