The Epidemiological Surveillance Network for Equine Pathologies (RESPE), which brings together veterinarians who monitor diseases in equines on a daily basis in France, called for vigilance after learning on Saturday November 16 of six cases of herpesvirus recorded on French territory, particularly in Île-de-France. This pathology, also called rhinopneumonia, can result in respiratory or neurological symptoms for the horse. A gathering in Sarthe could be the origin of these contaminations.
