No 8th round of the Coupe de France this Tuesday, November 19 in Corte. The meeting which was to pit the USCC against the Black Devils of Combani (Mayotte) has been postponed to a later date. This decision follows complaints filed by US Crépy-en-Valois, a Regional 3 club, beaten on penalties last weekend.
The Oise club has sent reservations to the French Football Federation. These relate to possible false medical certificates presented by three players during this match. As a reminder, the Mahorais club was forced to urgently review its squad, several of its players having been unable to take the plane to France, due to lack of proper papers.
This 8th round of the Coupe de France could be played either this Wednesday, November 20 at 8 p.m. in Corte if the appeal from Crépy-en-Valois was not satisfied by the FFF, or on the weekend of November 30 if, on the other hand, the complaints are retained and validated. In this specific case, Corte would no longer be opposed to the Mahorais but would have to go to Crépy-en-Valois.
The decision should come at the end of the day this Tuesday, or late Wednesday morning at the latest, time for the FFF competitions commission to study the file.
