During the standing committee of the Department of Indre on Monday November 4, 2024, the following decisions were taken.
Territorial solidarity. Rural Action Fund, the remainder was allocated to finance road and rural equipment projects in the following territories:
– canton of Argenton-sur-Creuse: €33,600 for the acquisition of furniture and the creation of a pedestrian path accessible to PRMs in the Merle Blanc district;
– canton of Buzançais: €39,450 including €19,652 for the repair of the roof of the indoor tennis court and €10,255 for the acquisition of equipment for the Tranger town hall;
– canton of Saint-Gaultier: €25,108 including €13,187 for the installation of a fence at the Saint-Civran village hall;
– canton of La Châtre: €23,976 for the waterproofing and revegetation of the Saint-Août schoolyard.
As part of the Departmental Fund “One municipality – one housing”, the Department subsidizes the development of municipal buildings with a view to transforming them into rental housing. As such, a total subsidy of €9,060 was granted to Aigurande for the creation of accommodation in a shared house.
As part of the Departmental Urban Development Fund (FDAU), the permanent commission decided to award a subsidy of €145,833 to Châteauroux for the energy renovation of the Grand Poirier elementary school.
Departmental water fund: a grant of €16,715 for three drinking water supply operations, including studies and work necessary for departmental infrastructure, in particular for the replacement of a pipe in Saulnay, in connection with the repair of the bridge on the D15.
Housing support for veterinary school trainees: fixed-rate aid of €675 is awarded to a student completing an 18-week internship at the Gâtines veterinary practice in Valençay.
Solidarity. Supporting people losing their autonomy. The Department grants €15,000 to the Le Castel nursing home in Sainte-Sévère-sur-Indre to finance a study on pooling between five associative nursing homes in rural areas. This study, co-financed by the ARS, will analyze resources, needs and cooperation options to improve support for older people; 31 files receive a total grant of €35,681 as part of the Fund to support home life and prevent loss of autonomy for housing adaptation operations as part of the Interest Program general, including 18 adaptation files and 13 accessibility files.
Attractiveness, tourism, culture and environment. Departmental climate change adaptation fund: €20,000 is allocated to Saint-Août for dewaterproofing, revegetation of the schoolyard and rainwater harvesting, in addition to the Rural Action Fund.
Education. Catering support grant: the Department is awarding a grant of €20,900 distributed between five colleges to support their catering services in the face of rising food costs, while encouraging local and certified sourcing. Thanks to these efforts, the percentage of purchases of labeled products increased from 29% in 2023 to 39% in 2024.
Operation in colleges: additional grants were granted to 3 colleges to reimburse costs related to swimming lessons and language stays for a total amount of €6,095.
Youth and sport. Aid to municipalities under the Departmental Fund for sports equipment works: €27,460 granted to Crevant for the creation of a skatepark. Support for sports committees and local associations, €20,000 to the departmental cycling committee for the operation of the U19 structure, €10,000 to the departmental swimming committee for the acquisition of two minibuses, €1,500 for the association Les Ailes Sportives Déoloises Tir for its operation.
