After another defeat against Rouen last weekend, the club announces the appointment of a sports manager and the reflection of solutions to “straighten” the Gapençaise team.
The Raptors of Gap are getting back in control. After a particularly difficult start to the season, marked by another defeat on November 15 against the Rouen Dragons, the board of directors indicated this Tuesday, November 19 that all the teams are “mobilizing with determination”.
The goal: “to straighten out our team”, specifies the board of directors in a press release. As such, a sports manager will be appointed on Tuesday November 26 during a press conference.
A word for the disappointed supporters
At the same time, “a sports solution is being finalized and should be clarified in the coming days”. Weekly meetings had already taken place for several weeks with the aim of exploring “viable solutions, both economically and sportingly”.
The board of directors also sends a word to the team’s supporters. The club acknowledges being “fully aware of the disappointment that our supporters and partners may feel (…) Your support, although severely tested, remains essential.”
He nevertheless thanks the supporters for their “patience” and their “loyalty”. “Together we will meet the challenge,” concludes the club.
