The twelve longship swimmers returned this November 18, after a competition at Mount Pearl not far from St-John’s in Newfoundland. For this first trip of the season, the results are very good according to the club’s coach, Christine Legasse, which also bodes well for the rest of the season.

The longship club was in Newfoundland this weekend to compete in the first competition of the season. On site, the swimmers from Saint-Pierre were able to face hundreds of other competitors and obtain reference times for the next events.

The results are more than positive according to the Drakkars coach. The Saint-Pierrais licensees have thus played in several finals and have reached the podiums of the Mount-Pearl swimming pool on numerous occasions.
Sony Chamsidine and Baptiste Bozon went to meet the Saint-Pierre delegation upon their arrival.
