The pennant team and the senior women’s team of the Étoile Sportive Pointe Hague (ESPH) recently received their new jerseysfruits of a exceptional collaboration with Uber Eats and the French Football Federation (FFF), as part of the concours “In our colors”.
The club is one of the lucky 50 selected from more than 5,100 applications, a great recognition for our dynamic team in La Hague.
A jersey inspired by history and nature
The design of the jersey, produced by the Yard company, is the result of several discussion meetings with a specific working group set up within the club. The objective, according to Olivier Charles, vice-president: “Create a jersey in the image of the ESPH, true to its roots and its unique identity. And the least we can say is that the final design does not disappoint. »
Yard’s stylists and designers explained that their creative approach was strongly influenced byviking heritage of the club and by the geographical position of the ESPH.
The club’s logo reflects its Viking heritage. Located at the tip of the Cotentin peninsula, the club is in an isolated region, where the sea is omnipresent. The jersey pays homage to this marine environment with wave and mist patterns, while discreetly integrating two Nordic axes at the collarbones, recalling the Viking heritage of the ancestors of this region.
Much more than just providing equipment
This jersey, which will be worn during several matches during the season, embodies both the strength and resilience of the ESPH players, while honoring the historical and geographical richness of the region.
This partnership with Uber Eats and the FFF represents much more than a simple provision of equipment: this is a real highlight for the ESPH. “We warmly thank the teams at Yard, Uber Eats and the FFF for this endowment which is of great importance in our current development project . It allows us not only to equip our players, but also to strengthen the club’s identitythrough a jersey that resembles us”, comments Matthieu Lecannelier, assistant coach of the pennant team, at the origin of the club’s candidacy.
This support comes in a context of renewal and modernization for the ESPH, which recently took steps to become more structured, energize the club and attract new talents.
With this new jersey, the ESPH teams are more ready than ever to defend the colors of their club with pride, while affirming their territorial roots and their belonging to a strong history.
By proudly wearing this jersey, the ESPH not only wishes to continue to perform on the field, but also to strengthen its image and its attractiveness among supporters and young talents in the region.
