The Bocage Sports Discovery School has reached a new milestone in its social commitment. The association officially signed an agreement with Unicef, thus becoming a Friend of Unicef Club. This alliance marks the start of a promising collaboration between the world of sport and that of humanitarian aid.
Inclusion and well-being
Jean-Noël Sorin, president of the school and Aurélien Oustric, North Deux-Sèvres representative at Unicef, signed this agreement in the presence of many very young athletes.
By joining the network of Unicef Friend Clubs, the school is committed to promoting children’s rights through various initiatives. Sport, considered as a vector of education and values, thus becomes a tool in the service of humanitarian work.
Since its creation, the Bocage Sports Discovery School has always stood out for its commitment to inclusion and the well-being of all.
Becoming engaged citizens
By partnering with Unicef, the school strengthens its action and extends its reach beyond local borders. Thanks to this partnership, numerous projects will see the light of day: fundraising during sporting events, organization of awareness workshops for young people, participation in communication campaigns, etc. These actions will not only make it possible to support the programs of the Unicef, but also to raise awareness among young people of the issues facing children around the world and to encourage them to become engaged citizens.
